Recently, I spent some time on the internet and hooked up with Bobby Case and Ryan Hales from InCide. Originally named Drezden 9, then avoiding legal arrangements, changed the name to InCide. Members Scott Duniphin, Ryan Hales, Bobby Case, and Sean Autry have known each other for years. The guys hail from Kenai, occasionally blessing Anchorage with their heavy yet melodic sound. In September, the guys played a show with Skinlab, along with SubConscious and Hammer Fisst.

Since I only got to talk to Bobby and Ryan, I only have what they had to say, but it was a pretty good interview. They both agree that the Magical Music Muffin is a major influence, along with the love of their instruments, (Ryan on guitar and Bobby  on bass guitar). Only playing for two years, Bobby can also play piano and guitar. The admit to having too many favorite bands to name, but dream of touring with Pantera, Chimaira, Spine Shank and Machine Head.

InCide doesn't currently have any CD's, but have a demo CD that they give away, not for sale, as Bobby so clearly stated. Unfortunately, there aren't any shows scheduled for the winter because they are going to be recording, but Anchorage definitely has something to look forward to.
